Sligo GAA Day at the Races

Tickets for the Sligo GAA Day at the Races next Tuesday 19th August are selling fast.
The €30 ticket is proving very attractive to patrons with several benefits including;

Entry to a Post Races BBQ at Kennedy's Bar
The seven race card which will commence at 5.20pm features a mix of flat and National Hunt races with top jockeys from across Ireland in attendance for what promises to be an excellent evening meeting.
Three of the seven Races have been kindly sponsored by ABBVIE, The Sligo Champion and Club Sligo.
As an added incentive for Clubs, Corporates or Businesses the organising committee are offering Groups of 10 or more a Group ticket which is discounted to €25 per person.

Patrons should note that they will have an opportunity to join in the fun by dressing up in the Black & White colours of the county and participating in the Black and White theme of the day.
There will be an array of special prizes for the winners of the;

Best Dressed Lady
Best Dressed Man
And on hand to pick the winners and present them with their Prizes will be RTE GAA personality - Marty Morrissey.
Speaking last week, Marty said he was thoroughly looking forward to attending the event.
Club Sligo are also arranging a Patrons Marquee for the day to enable their supporters mix and mingle during the Races and this has been kindly sponsored by John McKeon of Pet Stop Discount Warehouse.
Patrons will also have the opportunity to attend a post Races BBQ in Kennedy's Bar on Rockwood Parade and the organisers are grateful to the Quinn family for sponsoring this aspect of the event.
