Enniscrone/Kilglass GAA notes

Intermediate
At the time of writing, there were no fixtures set for either our intermediate or Junior 'B' teams. In Division Three, there is only one remaining game vs St Mary's down for decision before the league final against the same opposition; the Division 4 league has a number of rounds left before its conclusion.

Well done to the minor boys who got their championship campaign off to a winning start with a 5-10 to 3-11 win over Ballymote. The next round is pencilled in for July 17th when they team travel to take on Geevagh. Training continues this week. The team from Thursday was - G Hastings; J Morrison, E Bourke; N Byrne, J Kilcullen, J Hannan; D Mullaney, H Cawley; R Grimes, O McCaffrey, M Caffrey; D O'Regan, B Fitzgerald. Subs: N Carden, D Finnerty.
U16
The u16's are continuing their preparations for the championship which gets underway on July 21st.
U14
Congrats to our u14 team who qualified for the 'B' shield final courtesy of a 2-12 to 3-07 win over Calry/St Joseph's last Friday. They meet St Mary's in the final - time, date and venue for that fixture had not been released at the time of writing.
U12
Our u12's will look to continue their good form when they meet Ballymote on Tuesday evening (July 8th) at 7pm in Corran Park.
U8/U10
Well done to our u8's and u10's who took part in the all-county blitz at Markievicz Park last Saturday afternoon. We hope they enjoyed their day at the county ground.
Sports Capital Grant 2014
The club received some fantastic news last Thursday with the announcement that we will receive €40,000 under the Sports Capital Grant scheme. This funding will go a long way in helping build our indoor astro-turf complex, which will be a fantastic facility when complete. We extend our gratitude to local TDs and Minister for Sport Michael Ring TD for delivering this funding.

Race Night
Thanks again to all those who supported our race night. A full list of winners is available on our Facebook page and our website, www.enniscronekilglassgaa.com.
Inter-County
Well done to the Sligo Senior footballers on their win over Wicklow in round 2A of the All-Ireland qualifiers - we wish them the best of luck in the next round.
