HL3B: Casey leads by example

Tyrone warmed up for their HL3B final appearance against Leitrim with a nine-point defeat of Sligo at Markievicz Park.

Captain Damien Casey led by example in sending over eight points and first half goals from Matthew Mulgrew and Ciaran McCrudden helped establish a 2-7 to 1-6 half-time lead.

The Yeats County replied with two second half goals from Gary Waldron and Neil Hyland but the visitors wrapped up the victory when hitting five points without reply.
