O'Neills sportswear will immediately start manufacturing scrubs for the Health and Social Care Trusts.
The Strabane based firm has been hard hit by the Covid-19 outbreak with 750 staff members temporarily laid off last week.
However, with a shortage of Personal Protective Equipment for healthcare professionals, O'Neills started discussions with the relevant bodies and will begin immediate production of scrubs.
With immediate effect, O’Neills are manufacturing scrubs for the Health and Social Care Trusts.
