Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA – CMD Group Main Sponsorship Launch - June 21st 2019.

On Friday night last, June 21st, Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA officially launched an extension of their Main Sponsorship with CMD Group for a further two years. Club Chairman Ollie Lee addressed the group of senior players and club members at the launch and paid sincere gratitude to Chris McDonagh for his continued support of the Club. “We are delighted to be in a position to continue the strong relationship with CMD Group for a further period and we look forward to working closely together for the benefit of the Club”. He thanked Chris for his generosity to date and conveyed the sense of confidence it instils in the Club to have such a prestigious partnership in place.

 

Chris also addressed the attendance and spoke candidly about his business career trajectory drawing a parallel with that of the Club’s progress in recent years. He urged the Club and the senior team to have the belief to achieve at the highest level. Chris, a former Secretary of the Club, also spoke about his delight to be associated with his home Club as main sponsor and wished the Club every success in the future.

 

The brand new set of Senior team jerseys for the 2019 championship were unveiled on the night and presented to Senior team captain Nathan Mullen and vice captain Raymond Connolly. Senior team management members and Executive committee members were also present for the launch.

 

Congratulations to our clubs senior player Kevin O Kennedy who played on the Silgo senior Hurling team that won the Nicky Rackard cup last Sunday in Croke Park.

 Our senior team play St Molaise Gaels in round 8 of the senior league on Saturday July 6 th @7.00 in Nace O Dowd Park.

Our under 16 team came up short against a strong Castleconnor team in the Under 16 B shield final played in Tourlestane on Monday evening last. Hard luck to team and management.
