London forwards Liam Irwin and Fearghal McMahon are both absent from the starting 15 named to face Sligo in Ruislip on Sunday.

Mayo All-Ireland U21 winner Irwin went off with a hamstring strain during a club game last Sunday week, while Monaghan ace McMahon has been out of action since suffering a shoulder injury against Waterford in the league.

Manager Ciaran Deely has not released his substitutes' list yet but it remains to be seen if Irwin or McMahon will play any part in the Connacht SFC quarter-final clash.

There are seven London-born players in Deely's selection including Butler brothers, Philip and Killian, team-captain Liam Gavaghan and the experienced Adrian Moyles.

The Exiles will welcome the Yeats County to McGovern Park, hoping to repeat the heroics of their 2013 win over the same opponents which was their first success in the province since 1977.

Long-serving midfielder Mark Gottsche is the sole survivor from the London team that shocked Sligo five years ago before beating Leitrim to reach the Connacht final for the first time ever.

London (Connacht SFC v Sligo): Gavin McEvoy; Philip Butler, Ciaran Dunne, Conor O'Neill; Michael Walsh, Marcus Mangan, Patrick Begley; Anthony McDermott, Mark Gottsche; Eoin Murray, Liam Gavaghan, Thomas Waters; Ryan Elliott, Adrian Moyles, Killian Butler.
