Sligo veteran Adrian Marren admits it will be unusual if brothers Sean and David Carrabine end up on opposing sides at Ruislip on Sunday.
The siblings could even find themselves marking each other as the Yeats County take on London in their Connacht SFC opener.
"It's unusual to have two brothers on the pitch facing each other in an intercounty game," Marren told RTE. "It's probably a proud day for their family and the Castleconner club. Hopefully it's our Carrabine that's on the winning side.
"Sean is new on the panel but he's a great young lad with bundles of speed. He is the future of Sligo really. He is one of the lads that is going to be there for a long time.
"David is over in London and breaking into that team as a tenacious wing back. If they are both on the field they are probably going to be marking each other. Brotherly love will go out the window."
