Very presumptuous statement there. It's one win on a long road. Like I said before our full team would have a great chance and probably would win promotion. Though the win was pleasing, we still have teams like Wexford and Antrim away. We will see.

A good win indeed. Tipp are no slouches so the victory was all the more pleasing. Its always a good hard tussle against Offaly so I'm really looking forward to Tullamore next Sunday. Hon the Ross!!

Pleasantly surprised about the result today. Was a tight tough battle but it will stand to them. Looking forward to the game in tullamore. If Roscommon can stay in contention beyond march when kilbride, mannion and co are back who knows what may happen.

Great win minus the Brigids contingent. Wasn't expecting Offaly to be so poor against Longford but they'll not to be taken lightly regardless.

Well done to Des & the team a real workman like performance today, Tipp pushed us to the pin of our collars but we managed to keep them at arms length. Collins,Daly both played well in key positions however they will have bigger tests ahead.

Looking forward to the Tullamore visit already.

Good to get off to a winning start. Barry Grogan got himself sent off for Tipp which helped our cause. Ger Heneghan had a good game by all accounts.

Very little cover, small stand that doesnt get the sun so wrap up well. Pitch is excellent and 1 of the best you will see, the grounds staff there put alot of work into it so it should be a good game.

Gaa_lover have you seen the roscommon team? 4 of the 6 backs started the connacht final win 2010 and played again in a connacht final last year they all hav a lot of experience. Daly has won a cork senior championship and a sigerson in the last year and he's repersented roscommon at all underage levels, how can you say the backs are too young and experienced?

Apart from Shine i don't see much scoring power in that Roscommon line up, in defense it looks very young & inexperienced. Tipp to win by at least 3 points.
