Paul Curran has stepped down as manager of Roscommon football champions Clann na nGael.
The former Dublin All-Ireland winning defender spent two seasons at the helm, leading Clann to their first Roscommon SFC title in 19 years last year. However, they failed to reach the knockout stages of this year's championship.
Curran had previously spent four years in charge of Ballymun Kickhams, during which they lost the 2013 All-Ireland club final to Clann's great rivals St. Brigid's.
Meanwhile, former attacker and U21 manager Nigel Dineen has thrown his hat in the ring for the Roscommon senior manager's post which became vacant this week following the departure of joint-manager Fergal O'Donnell.
I see Paul Curran has stepped down as Clann na nGael manager. Hardly a surprise given way Clann bowed out of championship #rosgaa
