Intermediate Championship

Our King & Moffat sponsored Intermediate team have a crucial must win championship game this Sunday evening against Tulsk at 6.30pm in Croghan. Please come out and support the team on Sunday evening. Our next league game is fixed for Sunday the 4th of September against Oran. 

 

Underage 

Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels defeated St Ronans/St Michaels on Friday evening last in Kilmore in the Championship. Our minors play Castlerea this Thursday evening at 7.30pm in Castlerea. Our U-12 team beat Clann Na nGael B on Saturday morning last and have now qualified for the semi finals of the Summer league. Our U-8 and U-10 teams have a big day this Saturdayas they travel to the Connacht Centre of excellence to take part in the Roscommon County Blitz. 

 

Kilmore Does Strictly

This Friday night a massive night is planned getting underway at 9.30pm in the Silver Eel with the Launch of Kilmore Does Strictly. This is a night not to be missed as our MC and Shannonside Radio presenter John Lynch will join us to officially reveal the dancers and the couples for Kilmore Does Strictly. Between now and the big night on the 21st of October numerous fundraising ventures will take place for our dancers and we would appeal for your continued support. So make sure and make the trip to the Silver Eel on Friday night and join in the fun as Kilmore Does Strictly is launched. 

 

Last Man Standing 

Kilmore GAA annual Last Man Standing tickets are on sale from all players and cost just €10 with a top prize of €500 for the winner. All sold stubs must be returned to Jenny Connellan or Brian Carroll before 8pm on this Friday evening. 

 

Other News

Our 50/50 draw takes place this Sunday night getting underway at 10.30pm in The Kilmore Inn and Gary Veseys team are on selling duty.  The club wishes Damien & Aaron Devaney the best of luck as the cycle 650Km from Elphin to Paris in aid of Elphin S.O.S. this weekend.
