August 15, 2016The Intermediate produced a strong second half display to overcome Clann na nGael on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-09 in their Championship Group game in Knockcroghery on Saturday evening last. This results leaves them in good position with one game remaining against Shannon Gaels. Victory will seal a Quarter Final spot. This game will be played the weekend of 27th/28th August.
The Under 16 team made in 4 wins from 4 in the Division 2 Championship with victory over Kilmore/Shannon Gaels in Ballyforan on Sunday evening last on a scoreline of 0-13 to 0-10. This was not their best display but the lads worked hard and ground out the result. This result guarantees them a place in knockout stages of the competition. Well done to all involved.
Fixtures:
Our Minor Team play kilglass/St Barry's in the Championship on Thursday evening in Ballyforan at 7:30pm.
Our Under 14 team play Elphin/Ballinameen in the Championship on Friday evening at 7:30pm in Ballyforan.
On Saturday evening at 7:30pm our Under 16 team travel to Lisnamult to take on Roscommon Gaels also in the Championship.
