Championship
Our King & Moffat sponsored Intermediate championship team were defeated by St Dominics on Saturday evening last in round 4 of the championship. We now face Tulsk in the final round in 2 weeks in a must win game.
Underage
Our U-12 team defeated Eire Og in the summer league on Saturday. Our U-16 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels were defeated by St Aidans on Sunday evening. On Saturday morning last we hosted an U-10 blitz involving Kilmore, Strokestown, Elphin/Ballinameen, Caslterea and Boyle. A great mornings sport was had by all and thanks to everyone involved. Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels play St Ronans this Friday evening at 7.15pm in Kilmore. On Saturday at 12pm our U-12 team play Clann Na nGael in Kilmore. Well done to our U-16 team who defeated Roscommon Gaels in the championship last weekend.
Kilmore Does Strictly
Excitement is starting to build in relation to Kilmore Does Strictly which takes place on Friday the 21st of October 2016 in the Landmark Hotel. On Friday night the 26th of August the launch of Kilmore Does Strictly takes place at 9.30pm in The Silver Eel. This is a night not to be missed as we will reveal all our dancers and couples. Please come along on the night to show your support for our dancers.
Last Man Standing
Our annual Last Man Standing tickets are on sale from all our Senior & Junior players. Tickets cost just €10 with a great prize of €500 for the winner. The 1st match in Last Man Standing takes place on the weekend of the 27th of August so don't miss out.
Other News
Well done to Allen Ffrench Senior who won our 50/50 jackpot of €500 on Sunday night last. Our €25 winners were Jerry Gilchrest, Katie Hunt, Cameron Craughwell and Marty Burke. Thanks to Clare Connellan and her team of sellers for their great work. Next on selling duty is Gary Veseys team. Well done to our Senior ladies team who defeated Four Roads last week to qualify for the County Final on the 15th of September 2016 against St Dominics.
