Roscommon are through to this year's Connacht MFC semi-final after they secured a minimum margin last four victory over Sligo at Markievicz Park this evening.

Despite the concession of goals in either half, the Rossies prevailed on a scoreline of 0-14 to 2-7. with Lorcan Daly sending over the winner in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

The winners had trailed by 0-7 to 1-5 at the halfway stage after Sean Carrabine found the back of their net.

The Yeats County extended their lead shortly after the resumption when Paddy O'Connor bagged their second three pointer but the primrose and blues refused to throw in the towel.

Points from Callum Fahey and Ciaran Lennon got the Rossies back on level terms on the stroke of full-time before half-back Daly got the winner to see them into the last-four in dramatic circumstances.
