Hard luck to our Minor team who were defeated by St Ronans/St Michaels on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-09 in Kilglass on Saturday. The boys didnt start the game well and were 6 points to 2 down at half time having misse 4 goal opportunities thanks to the opposition goalkeper being on top of his game. A much better second half followed with Brendan Mulry starting the half with a massive point for us. The lads were beginning to get on top and pulled the deficit back to 2 points after a few rampaging runs from wing back by Darragh Keegan before getting caught on the counter attack for a sucker goal.
