Roscommon forward Cathal Cregg has stressed that in no way, shape or form will they be taking Leitrim for granted on Sunday.

Aside from their scare against New York earlier this month, Cregg is adamant that Leitrim will lift their game for this clash especially at home.

Speaking to the Roscommon Herald, Cregg stated that they need to produce a performance this weekend if they are to make a mark in the provincial championship.

"Leitrim love playing Roscommon, especially down in Carrick. We need to put in a performance against Leitrim to give the supporters something to shout about," said Cregg.

"Over the last three to four games it hasn't been good enough really. In the second half of the Dublin game we weren't too bad, but it has been a while since we gave the supporters something to shout about."
