Senior Team

Our King & Moffat sponsored Senior team had a mighty 7 point win over Padraig Pearses on Sunday last in Kilmore in the O Rourke Cup. Well done to all involved. Next up for our senior team is round 1 of the Championship when we play Oran in Castlerea at 5.30pm on Saturday the 7th of May. Our Junior team are due to play Michael Glaveys this Saturday evening at 5pm in the league in Ballinlough. 

 

Underage 

Our U-14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels had a great win on Thursday evening last when they made it 3 wins from 3 by defeating ST Michaels. Our minors put up a strong show against Tulsk but fell short in the end by 3 points. Our U-12 team also made it 3 wins from 3 on Sunday morning last when they defeated Kilglass Gaels. This Tuesday evening at 7.15pm in Kilmore our U-16 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels play St Ciarans in a semi final play-off. On Thursday our U-14 team play their 4th game when they travel to Castlerea to play Castlerea at 7pm. On Saturday our U-12 team play Michael Glaveys in Ballinlough at 5pm. All support is welcome at all our games. 

 

Ladies

Hard luck to our U-16 girls team who were defeated in the Division 2 County final on Sunday last. 

 

Other News

Well done to Jack Sharkey who won our 50/50 jackpot of €400 on Sunday night last. Our €25 winners were Sarah Dolan, Brian Carroll/Trevor Hunt, Bridie Gannon and Richard O Dowd. Thanks to Trevor Hunt and his team of sellers. Clare Connellans team are on selling duty for the next draw. Our Annual €100 draw tickets are now sale. 1 entry to each draw cost €50 or 3 entries for €100 with a top prize of €1,000 in each draw. The 1st draw of the year takes place on Saturday night the 7th of May. Club Rossie annual tickets are also on sale at €100 or €228. The Club Rossie draw takes place on the 14th of May. The club congratulates Damien Tiernan who's school team won an Ulster title last week.
