Operation Transformation
Our Operation Transformation is up and running with events from running to swimming to Health talks taking place every day until Easter Saturday. Everyone is still welcome to join in and weekly meeting and weigh in takes place at 8pm in the Clubrooms on a Monday. Activities this week include a walk on Tuesday evening at 7pm from Kilmore pitch, Thursday morning at 8am from the Half parish church, Saturday at 10am from the Kilmore GAA pitch and Sunday 12pm from Cloonfad school.

Hard luck to our U-16 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels who were defeated by St Ciarans on Sunday last in the league by 2 points. Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels are due to play Eire Og this Saturday in Eire Og at 3.30pm. This Sunday all roads lead to Johnstown at 2pm as our King & Moffat sponsored senior team begin their 2016 O Rourke Cup campaign against the 2015 County Champions Clann Na nGael. Please come out and support the team. Very soon Kilmore GAA will be launching our new O Neills Club shop, more details next week. Well done to the Roscommon team on their excellent win over Kerry on Sunday last in Killarney. This weeks 50/50 draw will take place on this Sunday night in Brackens Hillstreet. Tommie Kenoys team are on selling duty and envelopes are on sale throughout the parish. The launch of the Kilmore GAA strategic plan will take place on this Sunday night at 6pm in the Silver Eel. Refreshments will be served.
Referees
A course for new referees takes place on 7th & 11th March in the Co Board offices @ 8pm. Kilmore GAA is looking for members interested in taking up refereeing to do this course. At the moment we have no referee refereeing at club level. If interested in doing this course please contact Club Secretary Jamie Sharkey on 085-7756333 as soon as possible but not later than Sat. February 19th.
