Shannon Gaels club notes

September 21, 2015

Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U14 team played Castlerea in the Division 2 Final on Saturday.  Castlerea notched up a lot of scores in the first 20 minutes of the game and our lads were unable to recover from that.  They came out fighting in the second half but Castlerea had too much of a lead and came out winners.  Many thanks to the team and management of Noel Feeney, Gerard Hollohan, Pat Gannon and Karl Foley for all their efforts throughout the year.  Thanks also to Monica McDonnell for First Aid.  Many thanks to Silver Eel for providing a meal after the game.

Lotto results from draw the 19th September held in Dickies.  No jackpot winner, numbers drawn 1,7,9,11.  Winners of 20 euro Leo Marren, Darren Conlon, Nora Healy, Sean Murray, Jimmy Costello.  Next draw in Gings on 3rd October.  Jackpot now stands at 3,700.

The Junior A team progressed to the final after a hard earned victory over Creggs at Kilbride on Saturday evening.
