Congratulations to the u16 boys who defeated Kilmore/Shannon Gaels in the division 2 championship final last Saturday in Elphin see match report elsewhere, well done to all concerned. Thanks also to the ladies who provided refreshments on the teams return to the O'Rourke Centre. The u12 boys play Kilbride in the summer league semi final next Saturday at 12 pm in Kilbride, they play St Barry's in the Beirne shield final next Sunday in Tulsk at 12-30pm. Congratulations to Dermot Lyons jnr and Gretta Faherty on their wedding last Friday in Galway, we wish them a long happy life together. There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €12,500 on Friday 18th September. Numbers drawn on the night were 9, 10, 18, and 28. €50 winners on the night were Eddie Creaton, Tracey Finan, Frank Campbell and Gretta & Tom Morris. Next weeks jackpot is €12,600 and the draw takes place in Hester's on Friday 25h September. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5.
