Kearns linked to Rossies' role

August 26, 2015

Liam Kearns

Former Limerick and Laois manager Liam Kearns is the latest name being linked to the vacant Roscommon manager's job.

The Rossies are on the lookout for a new manager since John Evans opted not to seek another term in charge of the side about two weeks ago.

Kearns was part of the Roscommon management team this year and already knows the players inside out from his time with them.

If the Kerry native is willing to let his name go forward, he may face competition from Kevin McStay who has been heavily linked with the role.

McStay guided St Brigid's to All-Ireland club SFC glory in 2013 and his appointment would be a popular choice in the county.
