Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U16 team had a good win over Padraig Pearses in the championship last Thursday evening. The club wishes the best of luck to Matthew Bourke, Shane McDonnell and the Roscommon minor team who take on Sligo this Friday evening in Connacht championship semi final. Best of luck also to the Roscommon senior team who play Cavan in the qualifiers on Saturday evening.  Well done to our mens junior team who recorded another league victory over Western Gaels on Sunday last.

Tickets for Seamus O'Rourke play Indigestion are now on sale. The play will take place in the Bush Hotel on Saturday 11th July at 8.30 pm.  Tickets at a cost of 10 euro can be purchased in the Bush Hotel or from any member of the committee.  Congratulations to Daithi & Maire Foley on the birth of their baby boy Oisin.

Ladies:

Commiserations to Niamh, Sorcha, and the Roscommon ladies team and management who lost narrowly to Leitrim on Sunday in the Connacht Semi Final. Croghan was the venue for the game and the Ladies club would like to thank everyone who assisted with the preparation of the grounds especially Chris O Dowd, those who assisted with stewarding and all those who helped out on the day. Thanks to Oliver who was the announcer on the day.

Best of luck to our own Caoimhe O Dowd and Elaine McDermott with the U16 Roscommon ladies in the Connacht Final on Wednesday evening versus Leitrim. The game is in ballyhaunis at 6.30pm.

Our Intermediate ladies team start their championship campaign at home to St Ciarans at 6pm on Saturday. We wish the team and management the very best of luck. Please support what should be an entertaining game.
