Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U16s played their first game of the championship on Friday evening last against Castlerea.  The teams were evenly matched in the first half but Castlerea were the stronger team in the second half and came out winners.

The Junior A team played neighbours Ballinameen in the championship on Saturday evening. Playing with a strong breeze the Gaels had a 4 point lead at half time. This was gradually reduced during the second half and Ballinameen finished strongly scoring 1 - 2 in the closing minutes to win the match by 4 points. There was no winner of the lotto jackpot, nos drawn 7,17,21 &28.  Consolation prizes of 20 euro Katherine O'Dowd Killumod, Gerry Golden Knocknarush, B&A Leydon Boyle Rd, Kay McGwyne c/o Patricia Beirne, Amy McManus Macnadilla.  Next draw takes place in Thatch on Saturday 23rd May.  Jackpot 3,200.
