Roscommon midfielder Kevin Higgins has emerged as a major doubt for their Connacht SFC opener against London.

Higgins suffered a collarbone injury while playing for his club Western Gaels in the Roscommon SFC last weekend and is rated as extremely doubtful for the clash in Ruislip on Sunday week, May 24th.

Having missed most of the National League campaign with a knee injury, Higgins had returned to full fitness, but this latest setback is sure to see him on the side-lines for another spell.

Higgins joins Brian Murtagh and Ciaran Murtagh on the treatment table at the moment and it remains to be seen if any of the three will be fit in time for Sunday week.
