The Tansey Cup team played Michael Glaveys in a wet Ballinlough on Saturday evening. Scoring remained fairly even until the stroke of half time when Glaveys scored a goal to give them a half time lead. Play was fairly even during the third quarter and then the stronger team scored two goals. Final score Glaveys 2-7 Shannon Gaels 0-6. Shannon Gaels panel was C Sweeney, D Horan, O Flanagan, M Mulvey, S McDonnell F Sweeney N Lynch C Lynch N Leydon J O'Dowd M Murtagh K Lynch L O'Dowd C Leydon M McDermott D Marron K Loftus and D Bell.
The minor team had a good win against Padraig Pearses on Friday last.  Final score 0-15 to 0-5.  The U14 team were defeated by Strokestown on Thursday evening.

LADIES:
Hard luck to the U16 Roscommon team who were beaten by Mayo on Sunday last. The defeat came after they had got the better of Sligo on Wednesday.
Best of luck to the Intermediate ladies who play Castlerea in the league on Sunday at 12 in Castlerea.
The U12 girls are due to play St. Mary's in Round 5 of the championship on Thursday however, this game may be subject to change.
There will be a meeting of the ladies club in Croghan Community Centre on Thursday evening at 8.45pm. All welcome. 
Deepest sympathies to the Devaney family, Derrylow, on the death of Hubert McLoughlin and also to Patricia Beirne and family, Croghan, on the death of her aunt, Ann Grant. May they rest in peace.
