Senior Team

Our Murtaghs Bar sponsored senior team got their 2015 O Gara Cup campaign of to a winning start by defeating Creggs on Sunday last on a scoreline of 1-13 to 2-5. See http://www.kilmoregaa.ie for team line ups. Our next game in the O Garda cup in on Easter Monday the 6th of April when we are at home to Oran.

Underage

Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels will take on St Brigids this Sunday morning at 11am in Kilmore in the Division 1 Minor league.

Wither Away With The GAA

Our healthy living and fitness programme is now up and running. Group exercises takes place everyday. Our next Group weigh-in and talk takes place this Saturday morning at 11.30am at the clubrooms. A mighty crowd turned up on Saturday last and we welcome more new members this Saturday morning. Registration and Weekly weigh-ins cost just €10. After this Saturdays Weigh-in, we will head to Forest Park for a walk at 12.30pm.

Scor

Well done to our Scor quiz team of Harry Reynolds, Gerry Tiernan, Trevor Hunt and Brian Carroll who represented the club at the Scor quiz County final on Friday night last. Well done to the winners on the night Elphin GAA and best of luck to them in the All-Irelabd final.

 

50/50 Draw

Our next 50/50 draw takes place on this Sunday night in The Kilmore Inn at 10pm. Harry Reynolds team are on selling duty and envelopes are on sale throughout the parish in the usual outlets.

Annual Club Draw

Tickets are now on sale from all our usual sellers for our annual club draw. This year we have added extra incentives to the tickets with everyone who pays €100 getting 3 enteries into each of the 3 draws during the year with a top prize of €1,000 in each draw.

 

Other News

The club offers its deepest sympathy to Agnes Gannon and her family on the recent death of her brother Benny Rock, Ballinameen. The club also extends its sympathy to Oliver Butler on the recent death of his mother Mary Bridget. Kilmore GAA congratulates the Roscommon Senior & U-21 teams on their recent wins. The club also congratulates John Donohue who lined out for the Roscommon minor team in their 2 recent Connacht minor league games against Longford and Leitrim. The club also congratulates Sean Boland who managed the Roscommon Convent of Mercy to All Ireland success 2 weeks ago.
