A Roscommon side full of confidence entertain Meath at Dr Hyde Park this Sunday in round three of the NFL Division 2 campaign.

Having secured three points from their opening two matches, the Rossies are nicely placed heading into a tough run of games that see them play Meath, Laois, Kildare and Galway in the next few matches.

John Evans has repeatedly played down talk of a promotion push, but behind the scenes there is no doubting that is what he is targeting.

Meath bounced back from an opening day defeat to beat Kildare last time out. This will have gave them some confidence, but there is still plenty of problems to be worked on.

Their defence for starters was torn apart by Galway and Roscommon's forward could have a similar performance if given the right ball.

Roscommon will be favourites to take the points here, and although you can never write Meath off, the Connacht side should just shade it.
