Club Dinner Dance

The club dinner dance will take place on Saturday 21st March in the Hodson Bay Hotel. Music on the night by Big Deal.

The Snug sponsored junior team recorded a narrow victory over neighbours Padraig Pearses in the first round of the junior league on Sunday last in Kiltoom.

ST BRIGIDS MINOR COMMITTEE NOTES WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 15th 2015


U-16s: In their opening Division 1 league game on Sunday morning last in Kiltoom, the U-16s lost out to Tulsk in a high scoring game on a score line of 3-11 to 3-7.

U-14s: The U-14s were scheduled to play Killoe of Longford in Kiltoom on Monday night last.
Féile Peile na nÓg 2015: An U-13 team will be competing at Féile Peile na nÓg, which will be held in Wexford at the end of June. A series of fundraisers has been organised over the next few months, the centre-piece being a 'Monster Progressive 25 Card Game', taking place on Friday, March 13th at St Brigid's Sports and Social Centre, Kiltoom. €5,000 in prize money is up for grabs and admission is €25 per person. Participants are guaranteed at least twenty games. This promises to be an excellent night's entertainment while being an important fundraiser for the Féile. Please support if you can and if you don't play cards, spread the news about this once-off card-playing extravaganza! More details about the event coming soon.

U-8s: Training for the U-8 grade (outdoors) and the nursing programme (indoors) take place on Saturdays at 11 am.

Senior Ladies League
St. Brigid's 3-06, Clan nan Gael 5-13.
Our Hamrock's of Brideswell sponsored senior ladies started off the league with a defeat to neighbours Clan na nGael in Kiltoom on Sunday last. Despite defeat it was great to see a number of players back playing with the team and hopefully we will continue to build our team in strength and numbers as the league continues.

Training:
Training continues for all grades from U8s to Senior. Players will be notified of any changes to normal training times. We are always welcoming new members. Training schedules or further information on St. Brigids Ladies GAA contact 086 0876933.
Training for Seniors, minors and U 16 girls continues on Tuesday and Friday evening at 8pm at the pitch. Training for U 14 girls outdoor starts from this Monday and continues Thursday evening at 8 at the pitch. Training for U 12 girls outdoor starts on this Tuesday evening at 7pm at the pitch. Training for U8s & U10s continues indoor on Tuesday evening at 6.30 for U8 and 7.30 for U10 at clubhouse.
