St Aidans club notes

February 16, 2015

Weekend football

Well done to our Junior team on defeating Boyle on Sunday in the opening round of the league. A great start and long may it continue.

Commiserations to our U16 team who were beaten in Kilbride in difficult conditions on Sunday morning. The lads battled hard on a day

when luck was not on their side. Hard luck lads and keep up the good work. The under 16s are in action again next sunday when they play St. croans in Ballyforan at 11am.

Fit for Life

Fit for Life continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Contact Stephen Harney for more info or if you are interested in joining.

St. Croans

A special word this week goes to the St. Croans lads who were defeated in the All-Ireland Intermediate final on Saturday last. This was a fantastic acheivement to get that far in the first place and they did the county proud.

Bishops Visit

Bishop Kevin Doran took time out from his busy schedule last Friday and paid a visit to our club. Many thanks to him for doing so and for his kind words, it was great to see him in Pairc Naomh Aodain. Please see our facebook page for pictures of his visit.
