Hard luck to our Junior B team on their loss to Kilmore in the opening round of the Division Six league. Final score 3-06 to 1-05. The club wishes Ian Jones a speedy recovery. The lads play Creggs B on Sunday at 2.30pm in Tulsk. Round One of the O'Rourke Cup will take place on the weekend of 21st/22nd March.
The pitch rota for 2015 is being drawn up. All team managers need to book their slot for training with chairman of the club's Parks Committee Padraig Beirne as soon as possible.
The Last Man Standing competition gets underway this weekend, 21st/22nd February. This annual fundraiser involves predicting the results of upcoming Premiership fixtures. Entries costing €10 each are on sale from any Intermediate, Minor or U-16 player. The last person standing wins a jackpot of €1,000. Callum Fahey, Lismurtagh was the last man standing in 2014.
Joe Grady and his team are on 50/50 duty this week.
