St Faithleach's manager Enon Gavin acknowledges the fact that his charges were beaten by the better team on the day.
The St Brigid's completed the five-in-a-row of senior titles when they demolished St Faithleach's in last Sunday's county final.
"St Brigid's were far the better team," Gavin states in this week's Roscommon Herald. "They saved their best performance for county final day and they showed why they've own five in a row.
"We were looking for a huge performance and it didn't happen. They were a powerhouse around midfield, they were winning breaking ball and feeding it into their forwards. We were chasing shadows at times. They won midfield hands down and that meant they got good ball into their forwards."
