St Brigid's manager Benny O'Brien is confident that his charges will be ready for a tough test against Mayo champions Ballintubber in the Connacht club SFC.

The sides meet on Sunday, November 9th in a game that could go either way, while it will be the toughest test that the Kiltoom outfit have faced this year so far.

"It's tough anytime you play the Mayo champions because football in Mayo would be at a higher standard, particularly at inter-county level," O'Brien told the Roscommon Herald.

"It will be a huge ask for this group of players. But we'll sit down over the next three weeks and have a look at it, and hopefully put a plan in place that will stand to us in good stead."
