U12 Champions
On Friday last our U12 team were crowned county champions on a wet and windy night in Ballyforan. The lads performed superbly and came out on top of a 3-09 to 3-07 scoreline over our nearest rivals St Brigids. Congratulations to all involved and hopefully this group will stick together to do great things in the future. For more info and pictures from the night please visit our Facebook page.
Junior
Our Junior team defeated Michael Glaveys in the county semi-final last friday night in what could only be described as dreadful conditions. Against a strong wind in the first half the lads stuck to their task and went into the half time break trailing by 5 points to 3 points. However, once the second half got under way and with the wind at their backs St. Aidans looked comfortable. Some great scores were kicked especially by Michael Donaghue (he finished with 1-04), Mark McLoughlin and Jack Conroy. The game finished 1-13 to 6 points and the lads now move onto the county final where they will meet St Dominics. Best on the night were Marty McLoughlin, John Moran, Noel Hannon and Michael Donaghue. Well done to all involved and best of luck in the final.
Congratulations
Congrats to our clubman Francie Grehan who recently guided Caulry to the Intermediate Championship title in County Westmeath. Well done.
