Underage
Pride of the parish this week goes to our mighty Under 12 team who won the County title on Sunday morning last in Strokestown by defeating St Croans. Final score was Kilmore 4-8 St Croans 1-12. The club congratulates the players and managemnet on this great win and we thank all the parents for their co-operation with bringing players to training and matches. The full panel was Jack Lannon, Ailbhe O Rourke, Niall Mcloughlin, Natasha Munnelly, Cian McKiernan, Cathal caslin, Ethan Crossan, Pauric Cryan, Paul Lenihan, Daniel Donohue, Matthew caslin, Amy Phelan, Caoimhe Moran, Aoife Devaney, Lisa shannon, Maeve Holohan and Jean Caslin. Thanks to the management team of Jamie Sharkey and Josie Munnelly and Bernard Donohue. thanks to the minor board for sponsoring the food. Our Under 10 team are taking part in a blitz this Saturday morning at 11am in Kilglass. Our U-14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels had a great win on Saturday last over Western gaels in the Garda cup semi final. No details are yet available of the final.
Night At The Races
Our annual Race night takes place on Saturday the 25th of October 2014 at 10pm in Brackens Hillstreet. Horses and Jockeys are currently on sale from all players and all members of the executive.
50/50 draw
Our 4th 50/50 draw takes place this Sunday night the 19th of October at 10pm in Earlys Hillstreet. Gary Veseys team are on selling duty and envelopes cost just €2 each or 3 for €5. Envelopes are also on sale in usual outlets.
Other News
The club extends its sympathy to Martin Glynn, Corlara on the recent death of his brother Tom in Clarinbridge. We currently have 3 remaining in our Last Man Standing competition, Kevin caslin, Martin Caslin and Colm Walsh.
