Underage
Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels defeated Roscommon Gaels by 3-15 to 0-11 in the championship on Friday evening last in Kilmore. We have now finished joint top of the division 2 championship group. We will now face Western gaels in a play off with the winner going into the division 2 final and the loser playing Roscommon Gaels in the semi final.
Table Quiz
A fundraising quiz for the underage teams of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels will take place on this Friday night the 19th of September at 8pm in Glancys bar, Cortober. Adult tables of 4 costs €40 and Minor table of 6 costs €20. Great prizes on the night. The Kilmore/Shannon Gaels underage teams are also selling lines at €5 each with a first prize of 2 All Ireland Football final tickets. Tickets can be got from Padraig Doyle, Brian Carroll, Tracy Duignan and Chris Dowd. please come out and support this table quiz for a great nights entertainment.
50/50
Our 2nd 50/50 draw takes place this Sunday night at 10pm in the Silver Eel. Trevor Hunts team are on selling duty this week. Envelopes cost €2 each or 3 for €5 and are on sale throughout the parish.
Last Man Standing
We are now getting ready for week 5 of Last Man Standing. We still have 9 players standing and they are Paul McCormack, Kevin Caslin, Martin Caslin, Colm Walsh, Paul Bell, Tommie/Teresa Kenoy, Siobhan Hunt, Paul Butler and Roisin Creegan. Enteries must be in by 11am on Saturday morning and you can follow the progress on www.kilmoregaa.ie.
