Kilglass Gaels club notes

September 15, 2014

Team News: Junior championship is now the main prize for our club for 2015 after St Ronan's piped us at the finishing line to claim a one point victory in the relegation final and thus relegating us to junior championship from next year. It had been a tough year for this team with numbers been small and a very tough group in the championship to contend with. But you have to take the good with the bad and a rebuilding process will now have to be done and that is now more important than anything. We have some very enthusiastic and energetic young footballers who along with our senior players guide us back to intermediate football just like we did back in 2008.On a brighter note our junior B team had a very comprehensive win over St Michaels in the league on Sunday afternoon. Our lads played some lovely mostly attacking football and held the lead at halftime. In a game where we scored six goals we worked hard again in the second half to claim a much needed 2 points in the league.
New Born: The club would like to congratulate Deirdre Duffy & Keith Dolan on the birth of their baby girl Ava. We wish them all God's blessing in their new lives together along with Oisin.
