Underage: Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U16s bowed out of the championship last Wednesday evening when they were defeated in the semi-final by a stronger Strokestown side. Many thanks to the team and management for their efforts all year. Glancys/Supervalu sponsored Kilmore/Shannon Gaels minor team shared the spoils with Western Gaels on Sunday last in what was a very entertaining game.

Shannon Gaels U12 boys defeated St. Barrys on Sunday last in Tarmonbarry in their penultimate league game. Their final league game is scheduled for next Sunday against St. Brigids at 11.30 in Croghan. Our U6s, U8s and U10s will play a friendly game v Leitrim Gaels next Saturday morning at 11.30 am in Leitrim Gaels Gaa pitch.

Quiz: Kilmore/Shannon Gaels amalagated teams are holding a table quiz on Friday 19th September in Glancys Waterfront Bar. All proceeds go to the combination club. We would encourage all parents, players and supporters to come and support this night. Adult table of 4 will be 40 euro and junior table of 6 is 30 euro

Mens: Our mens team are due to play Ballinameen in the Junior A championship semi final next Sunday 14th at 1 pm in Boyle. Club text will be sent out with definite time and venue.

Ladies:

The U16 Ladies team and management had an enjoyable weekend in west Clare bowing out to the eventual winners Moycullen in the quarter final. Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Elaine McDermott who sustained a head injury.
The U14s earned a one point win over neighbours St Michaels in a thrilling game during the week securing a place in the County Semi Final. Well done to the girls and management.
All support is appreciated in Croghan on Saturday evening as the Intermediate ladies take on Eire Og in the County Semi Final with the game throwing in at 5pm. Best of luck to Declan, Gerry, Deano and the girls.
Commiserations to the Roscommon ladies who bowed out of the championship on Saturday evening in their All Ireland Semi Final versus Fermanagh.
