The senior team defeated Boyle in the championship eight place playoff last Sunday in Strokestown. They play Western Gael's in the quarter final in Hyde Park on Sunday 14th September at 3-45pm. The junior team were defeated by Michal Glavey's in the championship quarter final last Saturday. The u16 boys were defeated by Eire Og and defeated Boyle last week. This completes their season. Thanks to the team management and the boys for their effort during the season. The minor team play Tulsk on Sunday 7th September at 12 noon in O'Rourke Park. Gaelic for mothers and other's continues on Tuesday evenings in O'Rourke Park. Check www.gaaroscomon.ie or Aertel page 452 or local press for all club fixtures and results. There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €7,000 on Friday 29th August. Numbers drawn on the night were 2, 14, 17 and 23. €50 winners on the night were Kevin 7 Jackie Kelly, Gordon Bligh, David Farrell and John & Sarah Murphy. Next week's jackpot is €7,100 and the draw takes place in Sissy's on Friday 05th September. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5.
