Former Roscommon manager Fergal O’Donnell will take over Western Gaels this year.

O’Donnell brings a wealth of experience to the role having managed at club and county level for many years now.

Having taken a year out from management, he returns to the sideline hoping to rejuvenate the fortunes of the Frenchpark based club.

The former Roscommon footballer will be assisted by Stephen Bohan and Padraig Cassidy as selectors.

Meanwhile, Roscommon Gaels are set to retain Liam McNeill for a sixth consecutive campaign, while Basil Mannion will manage Boyle for a third consecutive year.
