Following today's Ulster and Leinster SFC finals, four of the teams that will compete in the Super 8s are now known.

Donegal and All-Ireland champions Dublin confirmed their participation in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final round-robin series with comfortable provincial final victories over Cavan and Meath respectively. Kerry booked their place in the Super 8s by retaining the Munster title at Cork's expense last night, while Roscommon were the first county to qualify after trumping Galway in the Connacht final seven days ago.

Kerry and Donegal will be in Group 1 alongside Galway / Round 4 Qualifier winner and Meath / Round 4 Qualifier winner. Group 2 will comprise Dublin, Roscommon, Cork / Round 4 Qualifier winner and Cavan / Round 4 Qualifier winner.

The Super 8s will be played over three weekends, starting on the weekend of July 20-21 and finishing on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

All eyes will now be on tomorrow morning's All-Ireland SFC Qualifier Round 3 draw involving Laois, Clare, Westmeath, Mayo, Tyrone, Kildare, Armagh and Offaly. The four ties will be played next weekend with the winners joining beaten provincial finalists Cork, Cavan, Galway and Meath in the Round 4 draw on Monday week.
