Underage 

Our U-16 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels were defeated by Clann na nGael on Sunday by 2-9 to 0-10. On tghis Saturday our U-14 team start their league campaign against Elphin/Ballinameen in Elphin at 12pm. On Sunday our minors play Kilbride in Kilmore at 11am in the opening game of the league. 

 

Registration Evening 

Our 2019 registration evening takes place this Friday evening from 7pm to 9pm in the club rooms at the pitch. This registration evening is for adult and all underage players. Memberships cost as follows Adult players €50, Students €30, Non playing members €30, Underage players €25. We have family membership for 2 adults and 2 underage players for €100 with each additional underage player costing €20. We also have a family package for 2 adults and 2 children for €150 which includes access for both adult members to the full use of our gym. We also have our annual Gold membership costing €320 which includes annual membership, 3 entries in each 50/50 draw for 12 months, entry into the annual club draw, full access to the walkway and gym, choice of a Kilmore Gillet jacket or waterproof top. Everyone is asked to attend the registration evening where membership can be paid on Friday to our club registrar Geard Fitzmaurice or Minor club treasurer Shane McElhone. 

 

Walkway

Our walkway is up and running at the pitch and anyone using the walkway must be a member of the club. Membership is available at €25 for any one who wants to join. We also remind people using the walkway that dogs or bikes are not permitted on the walkway. 

 

Presentation night 

Our annual presentation night takes place on Saturday the 23rd of February 2019 in the Silver Eel. the evening will begin with a mass for all deceased and living members of Kilmore Gaa club at 7pm in St Bridgets Church, Dangan. The presentation night will then take place in the Silver eel with a hot meal been served at 8.30pm. This will be followed by presentations to our players of the year, personality of the year and our club members who got married in 2019. This will then be followed by music from Marty O Briens band Going live. Tickets are excellent value and cost just €15. Tickets must be purchased from any of the following Gerry Tiernan, Michael McGuire or Carmelita Caslin. 

 

Other news

Well done to Phillip Martin who won our 50/50 jackpot of €378 on Sunday night last. Our €25 winners were Ann Marie Martin (yearly tickets), Colin Hanly, Heather Mcelhone and Maureen McGuire . Well done to Mervyn Foley and his team of sellers. Next on selling duty is Clare Connellans team. The club extends its sympathy to Carmel Bourke and the Bourke family, Corry on the death of Carmels mother, Nora Flanagan. Congratulations to Damien & Emma Tiernan on the birth of their baby son Rian on Monday. The club also congratulates Tony & Rachel Moran who got married on Saturday last.
