COACHING NEWS  (WK 49 2018) 

Award 1 Hurling Course

Roscommon Coach Education will hold an Award One Hurling course for all club coaches on  Friday December 7th, Saturday December 8th and Saturday December 15th. 

The course will take place in the Dr Hyde Centre and adjacent training pitch.

Friday  December  7th             7pm

Saturday December 8th          10am

Saturday  December 15th        10am 

 

Flexibility & Mobility Workshop

Roscommon Coaching and Games Development are holding a Flexibility and Mobility Workshop for all under age coaches on Saturday morning December 8th in Strokestown Sports Complex at 10.15am with course tutor Thelma Kennan.

Coaches who wish to attend are asked to contact Peter Carney on 086 8534709 to book a place. 

On-Line Football Foundation Course

Roscommon Coach Education  on-line Football Foundation Course will open on Wednesday November 21st for registration until Wednesday December 12th for all on-line modules to be completed, with a  date for all practical assessment TBC. We are urging all GAA coaches interested in coaching  to register by contacting course coordinator  Oliver Lennon for all the details [email protected]  

Application for Coach Education Courses

Roscommon Coaching and Games Development are inviting applications from Clubs for Course they hope to run in 2019.

If any Ros Gaels Managers/Coaches would like to have a Foundation Course, Sport Awareness Child Protection run for our club, can you let any member of the executive know. 

 

National Coaching & Games Development Conference

The GAA Games Development Conference will take place on Friday, January 11th and Saturday, January 12th in Croke Park. The Conference programme is currently being finalised, with information available from https://learning.gaa.ie/conference2019 and @gaalearning
