This year’s Roscommon GAA convention looks set to be a quiet affair with no positional contests occurring.
The position of secretary is up for grabs, but Michael Glavey’s Valerie Murray is running for the position unopposed, while Creggs’ Gerry Keegan is set to be named the new assistant secretary.
The position of Coaching Officer looks set to be unfilled as Sean Kilbride has indicated that he is stepping down, but there has been no nominations for that role.
Chairman Seamus Sweeney and treasurer David O’Connor are set to continue in their roles for another year at least.
The convention will be held in the Abbey Hotel on Tuesday, December 11th.
