County star Donie Shine is set to line out for his club Clann na nGael in this weekend’s SFC semi-final against Roscommon Gaels.

Shine missed the last two rounds of the championship due to a calf injury, but is expected to feature in the battle of the Gaels.

His experience will be invaluable as Clann na nGael look to return to the final, while Fergal Lennon and Cathal Shine will also be available for Sunday's clash at Dr Hyde Park.

“Donie picked up an unfortunate calf strain a few weeks back and we didn’t want to rush his recovery so we sat him out of the last two championship matches against Western Gaels and Boyle,” Clann na nGael manager Fergal Shine told the Roscommon Herald.

“He’ll be back for Sunday and we also have a couple of other returning including Fergal Lennon and Cathal Shine that will be available for selection.”
