St Brigid’s manager Frankie Dolan has used the old phrase ‘we’ll be taking nothing for granted’ ahead of Saturday’s Roscommon SFC semi-final against Strokestown.

Dolan knows that his charges are favourites to go through and defend their title, but he has aired an urge of caution to his players ahead of the game.

“We’ll be taking nothing for granted,” Dolan told the Westmeath Independent. “I wouldn’t read much into our last encounter with them. That was way back in April and they have improved greatly since then.

“They have a decent side and we have to play to the best of our ability if we want to get back into this year’s county final.”
