Intermediate

St Aidan's 1-17 Oran 0-09

It was a great start for our Intermediates in the League on Saturday evening with a big win over Oran in Ballyforan. The conditions were perfect and the football played by both teams was top drawer for this time of the year. We led by 0-08 to 0-06 at half time but the lads really kicked in to gear in the second half, their work rate was outstanding and there were some brilliant scores taken. The game finished 1-17 to 0-09. A super start for the team. Our next game will be on March 11th.

U16's

Padraig Pearses 2-17 St Aidan's 1-04

Our U16's were out in their first league game on Sunday morning in Ballyforan. It was a very tough first half for the team - going in on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-01. The lads came out in the 2nd half like a different team. They dug deep and put in a fantastic and competitive second half performance but could not come away with the win. Final score Padraig Pearses 2-17 St Aidan's 1-04.

Under Age Medal Presentation

There was a fantastic turn out for Our U12's, U14's and Minors medal presentation on Sunday evening in Dysart Hall. 2017 was a fantastic year for the club and we would sincerely like to thank all the management, players and supporters for all their dedication and hard work. We would also like to thank Enda & Donie Shine for enhancing the evening by presenting all the players with their medals. A special thank you to Paul Kelly who was on hand to take all the pictures throughout the evening.
