Offaly - Chance gone?

Can we somehow recover after having 2 defeats and make a decent push for promotion?..Or is our chance gone...Games against Armagh, and Sligo etc are now looking like very daunting, not because we have to win them but we could be beaten and beaten well. Especially by Armagh as 3-10 is a decent return. Goals are needed in games and Offaly have yet to score one in this league.

What are your thoughts? Can we recover?

It will be difficult, there are 2 tough away games v Armagh and Sligo ahead. I can't see Offaly winning v Armagh, with our style of play. Offaly need to put more players into attack, if we want to win matches, and goals are required. That is an area Offaly are falling down.

Don't forget we have tough home matches against both Tipperary and Laois to come. Avoiding the drop to Div. 4 is the priority for the footballers.

I don't see any recovery form her only downhill problems within this county and its plain and simple players are just not there anymore and we are not the force we once were

well since I was here last my prediction about hammerings came through in the form of the Armagh massacre....how could we possibly be beaten by 30 points????..dont mind the bad start of being 1-04 down..surely after such a start some kind of recovery would kick in and worst case scenario loose by 10 or 12 points or there abouts but loose by 30 points!!!!..this mentality of taking someone (or2) out of the forwards to play back in midfield or behind midfield watever about supposedly restricting scores which is obvious that its not..it certainly isnt helping our score taking..our tallies have been pitiful to date...Tipp beat Longford by 3-17 to 0-18 in the refixed match...3-18..thats 27 points..Offay might score 12 or 13 if they are having a decent day by their standards...as for goals...they are long term achivements by the looks of it and not hitting the net as far as Offaly are conerned...I dont know....players arent there I supposed but surely to God there are 15 very good footballers in Offaly...I would love to see their training set up and plan..Ide say the corners are well trimmed cost wise...
