Bracknagh club notes

October 26, 2016

Bracknagh push on from county final:

After the dust had settled and the celebrations were had it sunk in that  bracknagh were Offaly Gaa intermediate champions 2016 and focus now turned to the Leinster campaign. First up was st Kevin's in Louth in castlebellingham in a hard fought game the lads could not be seperate day full time and the game went to extra time and again couldn't be parted and another day was needed st Kevin now made the trip a week later to bracknagh Gaa where again it was a tight Affair and again extra time was needed and in the end bracknagh pulled through to win bracknagh after only one round had played over 140 mins of football. With this win bracknagh now hosted Wicklow champions ashford and this game was one in which everything went right for the lads and they put ashford to the sword and held a 10 point lead at half time and pushed on in the second half and ran out winners on a score line of 1-18 to 1-4, this win set up a semi final clash with neighbouring county Kildare and their respective champions kilcullen a game which will be played in Nov 5th at 2pm in kilcullen and all involved hope to see the strong numbers that have turned out at all

Games continue and cheer on the lads as they bid to add more silverware to the 2016 cabinet.
