Offaly Senior Football Championship  Semi Final

Very best of luck to Rhode Senior Footballers who  take on Gracefield this Sunday at 3:30pm in O'Connor Park  Tullamore.  Rhode will be looking to reach their 6th County Final in a row. 

Junior B County Final

Massive Congratulations to our Junior Football  team on reaching the County Final  by topping the group  beating Tullamore , Lusmagh and Gracefield on route. Their opposition  in the final will be either Lusmagh  or Tullamore .

Rhode Minor Footballers

Hard luck to our Minor Footballers who were beaten on a score line of 4-08 to 1-07 by St.Rynaghs when they met on Sunday morning in the Minor B Quarter final. All in All it wasn't a bad year for Rhode Minors  as they  started the season  of by wiining the the Division 2  League.
A big thank you to the players for their massive effort they put in over the year.  Special thanks has  to go to the management team of Bill Glennon,  Anthony Hyland, Paul 'Gizmo Glennon , Derek Egan and Team physio Geraldine McGovern for all their hard work and commitment.

Rhode U'14s

Rhode U'14 boys took part in a tournament last Saturday week in Caragh unfortunately they were beaten in all their games.

Massive Congratulations to Rhode Ladies U'14 girls on winning the U14 B shield County Title on Sunday last when they defeated St.Rynaghs. 

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 12th of September for a Jackpot of €15,000.  The numbers drawn were 6 8 17 21.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to O'Toole's for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €40 each

The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online though our website.  The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example pay for seven draws receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on.  In other words, the more you play the more free draws you are entitled to!!
