Intermediate Hurling Championship Semi Final

Clodiagh Gaels vs Clara is on Saturday 24th September at 3:30pm in O' Connor Park. We would encourage everyone to get out and support the lads. There is no doubt that we have the best supporters in the county and now is the time to show it!

Junior A Football Championship Play Off

Clodiagh Gaels 1-11 Clara 3-4. We progressed to the Junior A football championship quarter final after defeating Clara in a Play Off. It was a game which we were in complete control but could never show our dominance on the scoreboard. We went in four points up at half time thanks to a goal from David Buckley and points from Kevin Kinahan, David Buckley and Shane Dolan. We were out of the traps quicker with Kevin Kinahan, Colm McDermott, Liam Langton and Shane Dolan all putting points on the board but two more points and two very soft goals from Clara had them back level with a minute left on the clock but a Shane Dolan point deep into injury time ensured the win for the Gaels.

St Sinchills Camogie Club

Well done to the St Sinchills ladies on defeating Lusmagh/Drumcullen in the Offaly Junior Camogie Semi Final. They now play the final on Saturday 1st of October in St Brendans Park Birr with a time to be confirmed.
