Gerry Obrien -Walking Track Opening :

We are opening our "Gerry Obrien walking/running track" on the 17th of September after 6-30pm mass in Croghan, the track will be blessed by Fr Greg Corcoran and officially opened by members of the late Gerry's Family, Afterwards Light refreshments will be served with a chat and a cup of tea and time to recall fond memories of our club and parish.

Social Membership:

A charge of €20 will allow you to become a social member of St Brigids club, which will give you unlimited access to the track.

St Brigids Draw and Raffle:

We are holding our Vintage Raffle Draw on the 8th October, with a big BBQ in Killeen's , music by Wagon Wheel, & J J Kozmo. + BAR EXTENSION. Old friends make a surprise appearance/performance on the night, all for only €10 Entry. You can always be assured of a good night at a St Brigids g a a function.

Tullamore Court Hotel Senior B football: Result:

Relegation play off v Doon on Friday last. It was played in very well prepared grounds in Pullough; St Brigids Retain their SR B status on a score line of 0-12 to Doon's 1-5. Match report in the Sports section of the paper

Sympathy:

Sympathy is extended to Roy Francis and family on the death of his mother Mary, predeceased by her husband (Bob), Sadly missed by her heartbroken family Roy, Maureen, Nora, Tina and Shay, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, , brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
